Jeff Mathews
Big fan
I remember "The Mac" from Chi-towns El's (elevated trains for those who don't know) and have been a fan ever since. His humility and his honesty was revealed. If you had a lick of common sense you would know, "...don't take it so serious, they only jokes baby"!
You are missed,
Jamo

Sandra McGuire
msmac1
Although I have never met Bernie Mac, I feel as though I have lost a brother. My last name is McGuire and I chose my user name as msmac1 because I thought the name "Mac" short for Mc was very cool and my first name is Sandra so I also shortened it to Sandi, like he did. I can remember one of his first movies that he was in with Tupac. He had a small role and was playing a homeless man who slept near a school. I can't remember the name of the movie (but if someone could, please e-mail me) but it made me take notice of Bernie, and I had a feeling he would be big. As the Reverend T. L. Barrett commented at the memorial for Bernie Mac, "He was a movie star, now he is a moving star." I know him and the rest of the greats up there are having a laugh party up in heaven.
Laugh it up Bernie
Rest In Peace
Love Ya!
