Hi Babe, It's January 1, 2009; a new year I never dreamed I would enter into without you. I saw the old year out and the new year in with Deana and Tashia. If only you could have been here too. I still find it hard to believe that you are gone and that we will never see a new year in together again. I love you and miss you and always will.

Hi Babe, We had our family Christmas dinner today and, of course, the most important thing was missing, you. You might have been missing in the flesh but not in everyone's heart and your spirit was here. All the local kids and grandkids were here; also Jack and Becky. You must know you were talked about a lot today; about how much you are missed and loved by all of us. My Babe, Joe, Today is Christmas. Last year at Christmas you were in rehab and did not make it home for Christmas. It is so sad to know you will never be here to celebrate Christmas Day again but we did have lots of wonderful Christmas holidays together with all the kids and grandkids and your Mom and John.
